Xfinity Share is designed to share life’s moments, both big and small, as they happen. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to live stream to a friend or family member’s TV.

 

1. Download the free Xfinity Share app from the Apple Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices.
 

2. Open the app, and click the blue cloud activity button at the bottom of the screen.

 

3. Select "Stream Live."

 

4. Select "Stream to other contacts."

 

5. Enter the home phone number or comcast.net email address associated with the receiver’s account.

 

6. Click "Stream."

 

A notification will pop up in the top right corner of the TV where you are sending the stream. The receiver just has to:

 

1. Click the "Info" button on the X1 TV remote.

 

2. Click "Join."
