It’s September, which means summer is winding down and it’s time to get out of vacation mode, back to school and get excited for new fall series, the return of old favorites, and of course, football season.

This month is chock full of TV premieres -- with last year’s breakout hits like Empire, Scorpion and Black-ish coming back for a second season, as well as the return of classic fall shows like Modern Family, Scandal, The Voice, Big Bang Theory and Grey’s Anatomy. Need a refresher on where things left off? We have some terrific previous season catch-ups of series that are returning in fall including The Walking Dead, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. All accessible from the On Demand menu.

There are a multitude of brand new series premiering this month that we’re really excited about too, like NBC’s Blindspot (9/21), FOX’s Scream Queens (9/22) and CBS’s Limitless (9/22). Be sure to check these out and let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more new shows to come next month!

September also marks the season finales of some key series that defined summer viewing – including The Last Ship (9/6), Playing House (9/8), Tyrant (9/8), I Am Cait (9/13), America Ninja Warrior (9/14), Bring It (9/25), and Ray Donovan (9/27). Didn’t get a chance this summer to stay current? We’ll have the full season of each of these series stacked and available for catch up for 30 days after their finales.
