Watch a Sneak Preview of 'The Comcast Holiday Spectacular 2011'
With Thanksgiving here, the holiday season is underway, and that means here at the Comcast Center we've just rolled out our fourth annual "Comcast Holiday Spectacular." This digital display of holiday splendor has become a must-see holiday tradition in Philadelphia, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people since 2008.
This year's 15-minute show dazzles with new and enchanting scenes from The Nutcracker, beautifully performed by the renowned Pennsylvania Ballet, a dramatic new "Winter Wonderland" scene and a "Carol of the Bells" mega lightshow. Also included are family favorites, such as a magical sleigh ride through the snow covered Pennsylvania countryside, the majestic sounds of a 64-piece orchestra, and the harmony of the Commonwealth Youth Choir's Keystone State Boychoir and Pennsylvania Girlchoir, and more.
Check out the preview video to see this year's show and hear what Comcast Chairman and CEO Brian Roberts and Roy Kaiser, Artistic Director of The Pennsylvania Ballet had to say about their collaboration.
Shown on The Comcast Experience video wall — the world's largest 4mm LED video display — the show can be seen at the top of each hour from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Comcast Center from Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day.
