Comcast Corporation received a 90 out of 100 on the Calvert Diversity Report 2017: Examining the Cracks in the Ceiling.  This survey is conducted biannually, encompasses the S&P 100 peer group, and examines Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy, internal diversity initiatives, external diversity initiatives, scope of diversity initiatives, family-friendly benefits, EEO-1 disclosure, highest-paid executives, board representation, director selection criteria, and overall corporate commitment.

In February 2017, the New York Urban League recognized Comcast NBCUniversal with its Champions of Diversity Award for Exemplary Best Practices.

Comcast NBCUniversal ranked #4 among G.I. Jobs’ 2017 Military Friendly Employers, moving up from #74 in 2016.

Military Times ranked Comcast NBCUniversal #8 among its 2017 Best for Vets Employers, moving up from #20 in 2016.  In 2017, Comcast was the only company to receive a four-star rating, the highest available, in three key categories:  veterans’ on-boarding, company training about military, and military spouse policies.

Seth Meyers of NBC’s Late Night was honored with the HRC Equality Award for his work drawing attention to discriminatory legislation that targeted the LGBTQ community, including House Bill 2 in North Carolina.
