Supplier Inclusion
Mission & Commitment
Our mission is to support an inclusive, open corporate supply chain process, in which qualified businesses of all varieties have an opportunity to participate.
Program Overview
Comcast’s supplier inclusion program seeks to create a broad supplier base by providing every business, regardless of ownership or size, with the opportunity to participate in the process. While we make our decisions based on the qualifications of potential providers, our process is designed to be inclusive and to ensure that all businesses, including businesses that have historically played a smaller role in our supply chain, have an opportunity to compete for our business. Additionally, we use our subcontracting process to encourage our Tier I vendors to share in our vision by helping to create more economic opportunities in our communities.
Expectations
To participate in Comcast’s corporate supply chain, a company must be able to deliver quality products or services, be financially sound, provide good customer service, be responsive, and able to serve existing and new business. All suppliers engaged to do business with Comcast and/or NBCUniversal must also comply with Comcast’s Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners.
Process
To ensure that we are introduced to a broad range of businesses, suppliers interested in working with Comcast may register their companies using our secure supplier registration portal, which allows all suppliers to provide information about their capabilities and qualifications.
As part of the registration, companies also are able to provide ownership and size information, including their status as a small or diverse-owned enterprise.
Registration is not a prerequisite, nor are businesses required to provide ownership and size information or any status certification to participate in Comcast’s supply chain process. Comcast makes its decisions based on the qualifications of potential suppliers.
