Right now throughout the country, we are hard at work expanding our world-class, next-generation broadband network to communities that have long been unserved or underserved with internet. For years we’ve had nearly 100% availability in the major metropolitan areas in our service areas and provided the same fast, secure and reliable internet to every neighborhood – not just the affluent ones - in those markets. Now we’re accelerating the work we’ve been doing over the past decade to expand that connectivity to rural areas and places that have seen an increase in new construction and development, bringing the promise and potential of high-speed internet to small towns and tight-knit communities.

A hard-working community in California knew their lack of connectivity was a problem. Now, with Xfinity’s high-speed internet, the access it provides has transformed this town, enabling them to grow and thrive.
And the work isn’t stopping any time soon.
After having surpassed the goal of making our network available to 1.2 million new homes and businesses in 2024, we plan to match this level with even more expansion in 2025.
