Comcast NBCUniversal is dedicated to celebrating Pride and the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community year-round. Pride Month is an opportunity to highlight the diversity and richness of the LGBTQ+ community and share our longstanding commitment to supporting their unwavering resilience and pride.
Pride is Universal
The power of our platforms enables us to reach audiences with stories created by and for the LGBTQ+ community. Our efforts to create unique content, viewing experiences, and increase representation in front of and behind the camera result in more authenticity and opportunities for diverse stories to be seen, heard, and valued all year long.
It’s Pride All Year with LGBTQ+ Film & TV
For over a decade, Pride has been a year-round celebration on Xfinity with our LGBTQ+ Film & TV Collection. Experience the best of LGBTQ+ entertainment recommended by community members on Xfinity X1, Flex, Stream, and Xumo TV this month and all year long.
Comcast Newsmakers will release new interviews spotlighting LGBTQ+ community champions including Kelley Robinson, President of the Human Rights Campaign, E.C. Pizarro III of TransTech Social Enterprises, and Stacy Lentz of the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative. Watch online and on Xfinity platforms using the “Comcast Newsmakers” voice command.
NBCUniversal’s “Pride Is Universal” campaign pays tribute to those who paved the way for the LGBTQ+ community and celebrates all those who identify with it.
A Longstanding Commitment

All month long and throughout the year, our employees are participating in and hosting events underscoring our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. From professional development summits to wellness sessions, Pride parades, and more, members of the OUT Employee Resource Group (ERG) are living the legacy established in 1986, when NBCUniversal founded one of the nation’s first LGBTQ+ focused ERGs.
Comcast NBCUniversal takes pride in partnering with organizations that are dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community through efforts to advance social equality and digital equity.
Human Rights Campaign
Comcast NBCUniversal is a longstanding partner of the Human Rights Campaign and proudly signed on to the HRC’s Business Statement on Anti-LGBTQ+ State Legislation. Last year, for the ninth time in ten years, we were named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.
Through Project UP, we work with organizations that help advance digital equity in LGBTQ+ communities including StartOut, which aims to build a world where every LGBTQ+ entrepreneur has equal access to lead, succeed, and shape the workforce of the future, and LGBT Tech, which provides cutting edge technology and resources to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals.
