Xfinity TV Kicks Off 2011 Fall TV Season with More Ways to Personalize and Watch New and Returning TV Series

With the start of fall TV season kicking off and viewing on traditional television (TV) and mobile devices increasing[1], Xfinity TV is bringing customers new and returning TV series live, on Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com and through its Xfinity TV app and DVR service.  Xfinity TV customers can also personalize and enhance their ability to watch TV series whenever, wherever they want with tools that help customers manage their viewing across multiple screens.

Fall TV Lineup
More than 90 percent of all the major broadcast network's fall TV series will be available on Xfinity On Demand or XfinityTV.com - or both - including highly anticipated new shows like Pan Am (ABC), A Gifted Man (CBS), New Girl (FOX) and Up All Night (NBC).  Customers can access returning hits, such as Dancing with the Stars (ABC), NCIS (CBS) Glee (FOX) and The Office (NBC), along with top-rated cable shows, special bonus content and past seasons and episodes, so they can catch-up and keep-up with their favorites all season long.  In addition, popular and new premium series like Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Dexter (Showtime) and Boss (Starz) will be available to watch through the Xfinity TV app on the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®.

Watch, Manage and Personalize Viewing
Customers can choose from 1,400 TV series on XfinityTV.com, 600+ TV series on Xfinity On Demand and nearly 500 TV series through the Xfinity TV app, personalize and enhance their TV viewing with features including:

  • The Xfinity TV app, which allows customers to remotely program, record and manage their DVRs at home and on-the-go via a computer, the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android™-powered mobile devices

  • Use an iPad and various smart phones as a remote control to instantly change the channel, and quickly find what to watch on live TV, Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com and through the Xfinity TV app 

  • Tools to help customers track, follow and be reminded when their favorite TV series are available on live TV, Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com and through the Xfinity TV app

  • Get the latest TV news and viewing tips from Xfinity TV's industry-leading editorial staff

  • "Facebook Connect" lets customers share with friends what shows they are watching, as well as follow what shows their friends like
