This Thanksgiving, taking control of holiday plans is as easy as taking control of the remote, with festive seasonal programming available through Comcast's video-on-demand service (VOD). Novice and knowledgeable entertainers alike can host the perfect feast for friends and families thanks to ideas from top-notch chefs and advice from the lifestyle expert herself, Martha Stewart.  Also, parents can discover creative crafts for children to enjoy, and everyone can find exercise programs to burn those extra calories - all available to consumers anytime they want, 24-7, on VOD.

Available in the Life & Home section of Comcast's VOD menu, Martha Stewart On Demand provides entertaining and informative how-to segments anytime, anywhere.  It's the one-stop shop for holiday recipes, decorating and entertaining ideas, as well as inspiring ideas for creating a memorable Thanksgiving. Holiday-themed segments include table setting ideas, recipes for brown sugar glazed parsnips and rotisserie turkey with fruit-and-nut stuffing and a guide to turkey carving.

Digital Cookbook
This Thanksgiving, viewers can bring their food-stained recipe cards into the digital age with Comcast's Digital Cookbook, featuring quick and easy recipes from a large variety of categories that customers can follow along on TV or online.  Seasonal recipes include braised shallots with balsamic vinegar, chopped turkey salad with balsamic vinaigrette, holiday ginger yam pudding, and pumpkin black bean turkey chili.  These treats, and hundreds of others, can be found online at digitalcookbook.tv by using the site's Recipe Finder tool, which lets visitors search by ingredients or category.

Food Network On Demand
Food Network On Demand is home to a library of programs featuring some of television's top chefs covering a wide range of topics, from food preparation to presentation.

Activity TV
Activity TV offers ideas for educational and fun activities for kids ages seven to 10.  Some of the festive activities featured this month include making a Thanksgiving Pilgrim's hat, drawing a Mayflower ship cartoon, cooking a Thanksgiving pumpkin pie, and creating a Thanksgiving turkey finger puppet.
