Spring Into March with Comcast's Line-Up of Top Television Shows, Special Programming and Must-See Movies

Comcast's exploding library of new and current entertainment choices heats up the month of March and kicks off spring with a wide-range of choices available On Demand. The last month of winter has hot TV series that premiere On Demand at least one week before airing live along with new episodes of hit series available the day after they air; special March mania programming from U2, NCAA March Madness, the Golf Channel and Nickelodeon; and Hollywood hits, including the Academy Award winning Milk, available the same day as DVD.

Television Highlights:

NBC - No need to ever miss an episode of favorite NBC shows with new episodes of Life, Kath & Kim, Heroes, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, The Office and Knight Rider available On Demand they day after they air. The first two seasons of Friday Night Lights are also available this month. These shows are available On Demand in the "TV Series" folder.

FX - Watch new episodes of FX's Golden Globe-winning Damages and new episodes of the award-winning hit Nip/Tuck the day after they air - all in HD. These shows are available On Demand in the "TV Series" folder and also under "HD On Demand."

AMC - Watch second season episodes of AMC's Emmy Award-winning show, Breaking Bad, the day after they air. And for the first time ever On Demand, beginning March 16, watch episodes from season four of Hustle, AMC's critically acclaimed original series about the exploits of five London con artists. Both shows are available in HD On Demand in the "TV Series" folder and also under "HD On Demand."

Showtime - Watch the season three premiere of The Tudors On Demand one week before it airs on Showtime, and catch up with the entire first season - both for free in HD. This special is available beginning March 19 On Demand in the "Top Picks" folder. The complete second season is also available to Showtime subscribers in the "Premium Channels" folder under "SHO On Demand" under "SHO Series" and also under "HD On Demand."

Starz - On March 13 be among the first to watch the premieres of Starz' two newest series, Head Case and Party Down, available On Demand one week before they air on Starz - both in HD.

Head Case is about Dr. Goode, Hollywood therapist to the stars, and Party Down is about a group of struggling dreamers who are stuck working for a L.A. catering company while they wait for their big break. These shows are available On Demand in the "Premium Channels" folder under "Starz On Demand" in "Starz Originals" and also under "HD On Demand."

TV Series' - Other hit series available anytime customers want to watch include: Scrubs (HD), NCSI (HD), Numb3rs (HD), Lost (HD) Monk, Tyler Perry's House of Payne. TV series' can be found On Demand in the "TV Series" folder and also under "HD On Demand."

Special Programming Highlights:

U2 - Comcast and U2 have joined together to bring customers and fans an exclusive opportunity to watch nearly 50 of the band's music videos and concerts, including their latest single, "Get on Your Boots," all in one place in HD - for the first time ever - On Demand, in the "Music" folder under "U2 HD."

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards - Get ready for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards airing live on March 28, with this collection of nominated shows, as well as an exclusive look at the new show, The Penguins of Madagascar and the season premiere of The Naked Brothers Band. All of this content is available in HD beginning March 2 and can be found On Demand in the "Kids" folder under "Nickelodeon" under "Nickelodeon KCA 2009."

St. Patrick's Day (Have a Party) - Activity TV shows you how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style. Craft guru Lisa Bleyaert demonstrates how to make cool shamrock boppers, a fun Leprechaun hat and a festive stamp you can use to spruce up St. Patrick's Day cards or pictures. Beginning March 6, these activities can be found On Demand in the "Kids" folder under "Activity TV."

Get Up & Dance: Bollywood - Get in on the Bollywood dance craze. Beginning March 6, award-winning celebrity choreographer Nakul Dev Mahajan teaches you the same steps featured on shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, Superstars of Dance and MTV. So get off the couch and move to the colorful rhythms of India. These dance lessons and more can be found On Demand in the "Music" folder under "Get Up & Dance" in "Bollywood."

Sports Highlights:

NCAA® VOD: The Best of March Madness® - Keep up with the craziness that is March Madness with a collection of some of the greatest moments of all time plus highlights from this year's tournament. The NCAA® March Madness® Highlights show will recap all the madness from each day of action in the first two rounds, followed by individual game highlights starting with the Sweet 16 through the Championship game. This content can be found On Demand in the "Sports and Fitness" folder under "NCAA March Madness" and also under "HD On Demand" under "Sports."

Golf Channel The Haney Project: Charles Barkley - The Golf Channel works with one of the NBA's greatest players on his infamous golf swing. The first episode is available now and each additional episode of this new series is available On Demand one week before it airs on the Golf Channel, and can be found On Demand in the "Sports and Fitness" folder under "Golf Channel."

Movie Highlights:

New Release Movies - Missed a movie that you wanted to see in the theater? Now you can watch Australia and Milk - both in HD - the same day they are released on DVD. This month you can also enjoy other recent box-office hits including Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Lakeview Terrace, Fireproof, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist and Soul Men. All of these movies are available in HD and can be found On Demand in the "HD On Demand" folder under "Movies & Events" under "All Movies," or in the "Movies & Events" folder under "Just In."

Movie Collections - New movie collections can be found On Demand in the "Movies & Events" folder under "Movie Collections," with many available in HD. March's themes are:

Watchmen - Beginning March 3 just in time for the release of the highly-anticipated movie on March 6, Watchmen Motion Comics brings the original artwork of the "Watchmen" comic book graphic novel to life through a series of action-motion animated comics. This entire collection is available also in HD.
Nicole Kidman Movies - Kicks off March 3 with a collection of some of her best films including, Moulin Rouge, Days of Thunder and Birth.
Basketball Movies - Got the March Madness bug? We've got the cure with this collection of great basketball movies including White Men Can't Jump, Glory Road, Space Jam, Teen Wolf and more beginning March 10.
Bad Guys Always Win - Begins March 17 with films that portray stories in which evil prevails and nice guys finish last including, Phone Booth (HD), The Usual Suspects (HD) and Natural Born Killers (HD).
Kids Musicals - With the release of High School Musical 3: Senior Year (HD) and the new season of American Idol underway, get into the singing spirit with this collection of classic and new musical films. Movies include Grease, Grease 2 and Oliver, and are available beginning March 19.
Foolish Comedies - Get ready for April's Fools day with this hilarious collection of comedies available beginning March 20th. Movies include Wayne's World, The 40-Year Old Virgin and Happy Gilmore.

IFC In Theaters - A collection of independent films available the same day as they are shown in the theaters! New titles this month are Everlasting Moments and Hunger. Current and past nominees from the Austin based film festival, South by Southwest, including the exclusive premiere of Alexander the Last the same day it opens at this year's festival are also available this month. Kids' Movies - Showcasing a wide-variety of classic and new kids' movies, March's collection includes, George of the Jungle 2, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and Scooby-Doo and the Sword of the Samurai. Disney SVOD - Disney Family Movies, a subscription video on demand service, gives customers unlimited access to approximately 20 hours of content each month. Movies featured this month include, Princess of Thieves, H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, Inspector Gadget 2, St. Patrick the Irish Legend, Music Man (2003) and The Love Bug (1997) and can be found On Demand in the "Premium Channels" folder under "Disney Family Movies."

Movies Under $3 - Stay entertained for less with this economic collection of hits. Customers have access to a wide-variety of movies for under $3 including, Celtic Pride, Caddy Shack, Air Bud, Beer Fest and Love & Basketball. These movies and others can be found On Demand in the "Movies & Events" folder under "Movie Collections" under "30 Under $3."
