Showtime Networks Reaches Long-Term Affiliation Deal With Comcast Cable

Showtime Networks Inc., an award-winning and critically-acclaimed premium television programmer, and Comcast the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, are pleased to announce that the two companies have signed a new comprehensive affiliation agreement. Through this agreement, Showtime Networks Inc. services will be available to Comcast's more than 21 million cable customers throughout the nation.

 

 

The agreement covers SHOWTIME, THE MOVIE CHANNEL, FLIX, SHOWTIME HDTV and the company's numerous multiplex channels. Additionally, it covers the launch, distribution and marketing of Showtime Networks' subscription video on demand services SHOWTIME ON DEMAND and THE MOVIE CHANNEL ON DEMAND.
