Noopur Davis Joins Comcast Cable As Senior Vice President, Product Security And Privacy

Davis joins Comcast from Intel, where she served as Vice President, Global Quality, Intel ISecG.

Comcast Cable announced today that it has hired Noopur Davis as Senior Vice President, Product Security and Privacy for the Technology and Product team. Davis joins Comcast from Intel, where she served as Vice President, Global Quality, Intel ISecG. She will report to Tony Werner, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Comcast Cable.

In this newly created position, Davis will oversee a full-lifecycle approach to product security and privacy, which embeds security and privacy throughout the development process, from product inception to end of life.

"Noopur brings tremendous experience and unique perspective to this vital role," Werner said. "Her longstanding leadership in the areas of both product quality and product security make her the ideal person to lead a team that will keep security at the forefront of our design and development processes."

Davis’s team will also oversee security best practices for the Technology and Product organization and will partner with security leaders across the company, including Myrna Soto, Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer for Comcast Corporation.

In her role at Intel, Davis was responsible for product security, product quality, enterprise agility, project management center of excellence, interoperability and content validation, leading these initiatives for Intel Security’s entire product line to ensure the company consistently developed secure hardware and software products.

Davis holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
