Philadelphia, PA.

Comcast’s Xfinity brand teams up with host of Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, for a two-hour live Twitter autograph session.

Comcast today announced a #SignMyTweet event with Emmy Award and Tony Award winner, Neil Patrick Harris. The host and executive producer of NBC’s new live TV show, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, will sign fan tweets during a 90 minute live autograph session from backstage at the Best Time Ever studio on September 24th. Fans can submit Tweets from now until September 24, 2015 at 3:45 PM ET for a chance to receive an oversized version of their own Tweet, signed by Harris. Xfinity created this and other #SignMyTweet events to bring fans closer to the entertainment celebrities they love, Comcast’s residential service brand and the nation’s largest video and high-speed Internet provider.

How it will work:

On Monday, September 21, Harris will post an official #SignMyTweet announcement from his Twitter account, @ActuallyNPH. Any fan who wants to be eligible for an autograph must tweet to @XFINITY using the hashtag #SignMyTweet. Selected tweets will be printed out and signed by Harris on September 24 from 2:30 -4:00 PM ET. The signed tweets will then be mailed to the fans who submitted them as a unique souvenir from the entertainment superstar.

"As we’ve seen on the first episodes of Best Time Ever, Neil loves to interact with his audience, and anything can happen when he’s in the spotlight," said Peter Intermaggio, Senior Vice President, Marketing Communications, Comcast Cable. "Neil is one of the most popular entertainers in the country with a fan base spanning all ages and interests. We’re excited to give fans a new way to engage with him directly via our latest Xfinity Sign My Tweet event."

Harris, who is known by many for his role as Barney Stinson in the hit comedy series "How I Met Your Mother," has a long history in entertainment, with roles on a multitude of TV series and movies from Doogie Howser, M.D. to Law & Order: Criminal Intent to Gone Girl and The Smurfs. He was also the executive producer of the 2009 and 2011-2013 Tony Awards, has hosted two Emmy Awards broadcasts as well as the 2015 Academy Awards. A veteran of the theater, Harris most recently originated the role of Hedwig, the transgendered rock goddess, in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's landmark 1998 rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."

His recently launched new NBC series Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, will feature appearances by A-list stars, stunts, comedy skits, incredible performances, mini game shows, audience giveaways and hidden camera pranks. Anything can happen on Best Time Ever, and this genre-busting format and its fearless star will make for one of the best nights ever on TV, week after week.

This will be the fifth #SignMyTweet event for XFINITY. Previous events featured NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, NFL Hall-of-Famer Emmitt Smith, New York Giants wide receiver and NFL Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham Jr. and Telemundo star Kate del Castillo.
