NBA TV, NBAE and Comcast Team Up to Give Fans Ultimate Access to the 2005 NBA Draft

In-Depth Profiles of Top Draft Prospects Available on Comcast ON DEMAND

With anticipation mounting for the 2005 NBA Draft, Comcast is teaming up with NBA TV and NBA Entertainment to offer fans at home an in-depth look at this year's top draft prospects on NBA TV, the league's 24-hour channel, and on Comcast's ON DEMAND service starting today, and continuing up to and after the draft.

The 2005 NBA Draft takes place on June 28 in New York at 7:30 PM and will be televised on ESPN.

Comcast Digital Cable customers with ON DEMAND can view at any time -- and at no additional charge -- profiles of more than 25 top prospects such as 7'0" center Andrew Bogut, Utah's National Player of the Year and 6'9" forward Marvin Williams, a key member of North Carolina's championship team. Viewers can also see highlights, expert analysis of their team's draft needs, vintage draft moments, NBA TV's Top 10 sleeper picks of all-time and draft day's best dressed players will also be available. Following the Draft, fans can recap their favorite teams' selections along with getting player reaction and report-card analysis from a panel of NBA TV insiders.

"Having everything you need to know about the hottest prospects at your fingertips is a basketball fan's dream," said NBA TV Vice President and General Manager Steve Herbst. "We are excited about teaming up with NBAE and Comcast to provide our fans with in-depth knowledge of the needs of every team through this new and exciting technology."

"Video on demand is truly changing the way people watch television and enjoy their favorite sports, and we're pleased to offer an exciting new way to follow the excitement of the NBA Draft," said Page Thompson, Vice President and General Manager of Comcast ON DEMAND. "Comcast is committed to providing customers with the most customized sports viewing experience available and giving our customers more value, choice and control in home entertainment."

To view profiles, Comcast Digital Cable customers can go to the ON DEMAND main menu, and select the Sports & Fitness category, then NBA TV and NBA Draft. Customers can browse the player profiles alphabetically.

In addition to player profiles available through ON DEMAND, Comcast Digital Cable customers can enjoy nearly 60 hours of special draft coverage on NBA TV, including a special "NBA TV Insiders" Draft Preview show on June 27 from 7-9pm, and on-site interviews with every first-round draft pick.
