Hispanic Business Magazine Names Comcast One of the Top 40 Companies for Hispanics
Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) was named one of the 2005 Top 40 Companies for Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine, for the company's overall commitment to the Hispanic market. HispanTelligence(R), the research arm of Hispanic Business Inc., used more than 30 variables to identify and rank the top 40 companies, of which Comcast was ranked #24.

Hispanic Business contacted the top 400 of the Fortune 500 companies, and measured each company's commitment to Hispanic hiring, promotion, marketing, philanthropy, and supplier diversity. Specific areas of focus included Board and leadership representation; recruitment efforts; retention and promotion through incentives, employee support groups and executive training; marketing and advertising to reach Hispanic consumers; community outreach benefiting minority groups and supplier diversity.
