FEARnet Continues to Scare Up Success With New Time Warner Cable Distribution Deal

Philadelphia, PA.

Continuing its momentum as one of the fastest growing, most successful multi-platform brands, FEARnet -- the world's premier horror and thriller video on demand service and website - announced today a new distribution deal with Time Warner Cable, the second largest cable operator in the country.  The agreement with Time Warner Cable furthers the reach of the FEARnet digital on demand network to an additional 8.4 million digital cable subscribers and significantly increases the network's presence in the two biggest markets: New York and Los Angeles.  With this latest carriage, FEARnet will now be available in over 29 million digital cable homes throughout the country.   Time Warner Cable is expected to launch FEARnet by August.

"With this extensive distribution through Time Warner Cable, FEARnet's horror and thriller content will reach a large cross-section of the population in key major markets. We are consistently filling a niche in the marketplace and attracting an ever-growing, influential audience," said Diane Robina, President, FEARnet.

FEARnet recently celebrated a record breaking first quarter of 2008, showing major increases compared to the first quarter of 2007.  The huge increase catapulted the FEARnet VOD channel and the FEARnet.com website past the 160 million video views mark and FEARnet video on demand views increased by 40%.

Driving the growth and subsequent interest and demand by carriers has been FEARnet's pulse-pounding mix of professionally produced original webisode series, and its large library of feature-length horror and thriller favorites from some of the biggest Hollywood studios.    The network's partnership with Ghost House Pictures - a venture between acclaimed director Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Mandate's Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane - has produced two hugely buzzed about, heavily viewed mini-series.  "Devil's Trade" and "30 Days of Night: Blood Trails" combined to generate more than 8 million views online and on demand.  Additionally, its six-week daily interactive Fall series "Buried Alive", produced by Sony Picture Television, yielded a large loyal fan base with millions of tune-ins.

The expansion in distribution comes as FEARnet continues to develop several new original programming events including another collaboration with Ghost House Pictures that serves as a sequel to the runaway hit "Blood Trails," entitled "30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust." Slated for a July 17th debut, the series features "Saw" franchise scream queen Shawnee Smith.  Other new projects will be unveiled by FEARnet in the coming weeks.
