Diane L. Robina Named President - Comcast-Sony Networks

Today Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, announced that veteran cable programming executive Diane L. Robina has been named President - Comcast-Sony Networks, a joint venture between Comcast and Sony, which will create new cable networks using content from the Sony library.

The networks, to be managed by Comcast, are being created as a result of
the venture between Comcast and Sony which was announced in connection with
the acquisition of MGM earlier this year. Other partners, including the
private equity investors who joined Sony and Comcast in the acquisition of
MGM, may be added to the new networks venture as it proceeds forward.

Robina will be responsible for working with the Board of the venture to
determine the genres for the new networks and overseeing their startup and
operations. Specific networks and launch dates have not yet been determined.
Robina assumes this position on July 1, 2005 in Philadelphia and will report
to Jeff Shell, President of Comcast Programming, and to the Board of the
venture.

Shell said, "Diane is one of the most innovative people in cable today.
With her proven ability to grow new networks and her passion for filmed
entertainment, she'll be able to capitalize on the incredible Sony assets and
develop new programming opportunities in both linear and on-demand formats."

"Diane's wealth of experience building and maintaining networks, combined
with her long-standing relationships in the industry make her the perfect
choice for this position," said Steve Mosko, president, Sony Pictures
Television. "Diane loves television and I love her passion for the business."

At MTV Networks, she has played a key role in launching new networks,
including TV Land, HA! (which became Comedy Central), Logo, Nick UK, Nick
Germany, and the relaunch of TNN. She presently serves as Executive Vice
President of Acquisitions Strategies for MTV Networks, and previous roles have
included Executive Vice President and General Manager, TNN, and Associate
General Manager and Senior Vice President of Nick-At-Nite and TV Land. While
her passion for television has led to her industry success, she got her start
at MTV Networks after using her television knowledge to win an on-air contest
to become Manager of Acquisitions for Nick-At-Nite.

Robina is an elected member of the Board of Directors for New York Women
in Film and Television. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Delaware. She will relocate to Philadelphia from Mamaroneck,
NY.
