Comcast Promotes Sena Fitzmaurice to Vice President, Government Communications

Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA, CMCSK), one of the nation's leading providers of entertainment, information and communication products and services, announced today that it has promoted Sena Fitzmaurice to Vice President, Government Communications. In this capacity, Ms. Fitzmaurice leads the Company's government affairs communications activities in Washington, D.C. She will continue to report to D'Arcy Rudnay, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications.

Ms. Fitzmaurice is responsible for Comcast's proactive communication with national audiences on all federal, regulatory and legislative issues. She has led the strategy and execution of the company's communications with these audiences through mergers and acquisitions as well as major legislative actions and regulatory events.
Prior to joining Comcast in 2006, Ms. Fitzmaurice was a principal with the lobbying firm Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates in Washington, D.C., where she created strategic public affairs plans for her clients. Prior to that, she worked for Comcast in communications in its Philadelphia headquarters. Sena was recognized by CableFax for her work in communications at Comcast.
Ms. Fitzmaurice received her bachelor's degree from The American University.
