Comcast Programming Investments Division Names New Staff Positions

Comcast Corporation's Programming Investments Division today announced the following new hire and two promotions, according to Amy Banse, executive vice president of the department. The department seeks new programming opportunities and manages Comcast's investments in television networks. The three report to Banse.
Allan Singer, Programming Investments Division Senior Vice President. Singer was previously Senior Vice President of Programming for AT&T Broadband and President of AT&T Broadband's programming acquisition subsidiary, Satellite Services, Inc. Prior to joining AT&T Broadband's predecessor, TCI in 1996, Singer worked in the Denver law firm of White and Steele, P.C. Singer graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and holds a law degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Russ Chandler, Programming Investments Division Vice President. Chandler has been promoted from Senior Director, and will continue to evaluate potential investments in new and existing programming entities and assist with business development at Comcast's existing networks. Chandler joined Comcast in 1992 and previously served as assistant treasurer in Comcast's Treasury Department. Chandler graduated from Boston University, holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified public accountant.
Jordan Nadell, Programming Investments Division Senior Director. Nadell has been promoted from Director, and will continue to oversee Comcast's investments in television networks. Nadell joined Comcast in 1994 as a staff accountant in the Corporate Accounting department, and previously was an accountant with Ernst & Young LLP in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Nadell graduated from The George Washington University and is a certified public accountant.
