Comcast Names Kamal Dua As Vice President And General Auditor
Comcast Corporation announced today that Kamal Dua is joining the company as Vice President and General Auditor. Dua, who starts this week, will lead a team of 50 audit professionals and reports to David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President.
Dua previously served as Vice President and General Auditor of Keyspan Corporation of New York. In that role, he managed more than 30 professional audit staff. Before that, Dua worked for AT&T Corporation as Assistant Corporate Controller, and for Verizon Communications in a variety of accounting and finance roles. Dua began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their London office.
"Kamal is a first rate finance and audit professional who will carry on the high standards set for internal audit at Comcast over the past decade," Cohen said. "As Comcast continues to grow and integrate our newly acquired cable systems, audit functions and responsibilities remain a top priority at the company."
Cohen also announced that William Montemarano is remaining with Comcast as Vice President of Internal Audit and serves as Dua's top deputy. Montemarano has led the internal audit group since 1993. "I am very pleased that Bill has agreed to remain an integral part of the internal audit leadership team. With Kamal and Bill, I think we have the finest internal audit leadership group in the industry," Cohen concluded.
