Comcast Names David T. Cassaro President of Comcast Network Advertising Sales

Philadelphia, PA.

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) today announced that David T. Cassaro will serve as President of Comcast Network Advertising Sales, a new department being established by Comcast's Programming Investments Division to oversee advertising sales for Comcast's national networks E! Entertainment Television,The Style Network, G4techTV, International Channel Networks, and Outdoor LifeNetwork.

Cassaro will report to Amy L. Banse, Executive Vice President of Comcast's Programming Investments Division, and will work closely with the senior management of each network to support their unique business objectives and growth. Cassaro will also collaborate with The Golf Channel's ad sales team, which will remain independent due to the specialized, tournament-driven nature of its sales. He begins his new position on January 1, 2005 and will be based in New York.

Cassaro presently serves as Senior Executive Vice President of Sales and Distribution for E! Networks, where he is responsible for all ad sales activities and domestic cable and satellite distribution for E! EntertainmentTelevision and The Style Network. Prior to joining E! in 1990, he served with FOX Broadcasting Company, CBS Television Network, and ABC TV Network.

Cassaro, 52, serves on the Board of Directors of the Cable Advertising Bureau and City Meals on Wheels. He resides in New York with his wife Mary Jane, and is a graduate of Marist College with a BA in Communication Arts.
