Comcast Names Cynthia Hook Senior Vice President and General Auditor
Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), one of the nation's leading providers of entertainment, information and communication products and services, today announced that Cynthia Hook has joined the company as Senior Vice President and General Auditor. In this capacity, Ms. Hook oversees all internal audit staff, risk management, and the performance of financial, operational, systems audits, among other responsibilities. She reports to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Comcast Corporation and to Michael Angelakis, Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Corporation.

Prior to joining Comcast, Ms. Hook spent 12 years at Dell, Inc., most recently serving as the Vice President of Global Audit and Transformation where she was responsible for the Global Audit function as well as transformation initiatives for the finance function and supporting business-wide change initiatives. Before that, she held senior finance positions within several groups at Dell, including Product Group, Information Technology, Dell International Services, Dell Americas Operations, Corporate Business Group, and Corporate Planning. She also served as an executive sponsor for Dell's Finance Diversity Action Committee and was a founding board member of Dell's women's networking group. Ms. Hook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and has served on the board of Ballet Austin.
