Comcast Launches Comcast HospitalityONE, a Technology & Services Delivery Platform Dedicated to Serving the Broadband Needs of the Hospitality Industry

Philadelphia, PA.

Comcast offers first complete, turnkey solution for the hospitality industry - making fully supported broadband services easy, reliable and cost effective.

PHILADELPHIA - Comcast Cable, the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, today introduced Comcast HospitalityONE - a single provider solution designed exclusively to fill the high-speed access needs of the hospitality industry. Comcast, which already delivers video services to more than 10,000 properties and 650,000 hotel rooms, with the introduction of Comcast HospitalityONE now provides a high-speed Internet solution to guest rooms, meeting rooms and hotel public spaces.

Comcast's launch of Comcast HospitalityONE comes at a critical time in the hospitality industry, as hotels across all segments seek to meet customer demands for fast, reliable internet service and in many cases simply to comply with new brand standards required by an increasing number of franchisers to offer the service. The hotelier's ability to effectively address these supply and demand side pressures is made more difficult as a result of changing business models and intense competitive pressures.

"Comcast HospitalityONE offers an easy, cost effective and reliable solution that was
specifically designed for the unique needs of the hospitality industry," said Phil
McRae, vice president of sales and distribution for Comcast. "Now, instead of relying on different
companies for various high-speed solution components, hotels and motels can rely on the largest
100% broadband service provider with experience in the hospitality industry to deliver an end-to-
end solution that is pleasing to their guests."

Amelia Island Plantation, a premier AAA-Four Diamond destination and conference resort, is one of the first hotels to announce it has selected the Comcast HospitaliltyONE solution.

"For over two years, we actively searched for the right solution to offer high-speed Internet
services to our guests and business customers," said Dan Clifton, director of information systems for Amelia Island Plantation. "We tested several solutions including, Cat-5 ethernet,

high-speed over electric wires, and wireless before choosing Comcast as the best solution available in the market today. With Comcast's new Comcast HospitalityONE solution, we were able to leverage our existing infrastructure and layer on a reliable high bandwidth technology to deliver a full service and support solution - easily and cost effectively."

Comcast has leveraged its expertise in the hospitality industry - as well as its position as the nation's largest broadband ISP provider - to create a platform that is capable of delivering video and high-speed Internet services, as well as future services and technology. Comcast HospitalityONE provides five unique categories of features/benefits that deliver reliable and satisfying high-speed guest experiences. This can help improve occupancy, without requiring the hotel to provide additional resources to address service and support needs.

Easy
The Comcast HospitalityONE solution builds upon the high-capacity cable infrastructure already installed in hotel rooms throughout the United States. Because this solution leverages hotels' already existing wiring, installation is quick and non-disruptive.

Complete
Comcast HospitalityONE is the only service provider that delivers an end-to-end and cost- effective high-speed Internet solution including access, 24x7 Tier 0-Tier 3 support, equipment, network monitoring and maintenance.

Cost Efficient
There are no upfront equipment purchase costs for hotels to absorb. Comcast HospitalityONE also is introducing convenient flat-fee pricing for hotels. All required costs of access, service, maintenance, monitoring and equipment are built into one flat predictable rate for the hotels. Hotel managers have the option to choose amenity-based or à la carte pricing structures, for their businesses.

Fast
Comcast HospitalityONE delivers an always-on connection that is available anytime a guest needs it at downstream speeds that are three to five times faster than a T-1 solution regardless of how many concurrent users are on line. Comcast HospitalityONE is designed so that a simple plug-and-play solution available for every room and at every property.

Reliable
Comcast is the largest provider of cable services to the hospitality industry, with video solutions in over 650,000 hotel rooms in more than 10,000 properties. As part of Comcast Cable, Comcast HospitalityONE offers hotels the kind of reliability that can only come from being the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider and a Fortune 500 company. Comcast HospitalityONE leverages Comcast's more than 40 years' experience in delivering broadband technology and services to more than 21 million cable customers and more than 5.3 million high-speed Internet customers.

"We are pleased to be partnered with a solid company like Comcast," said Jack B. Healan, Jr., president of Amelia Island Plantation. "After two years bumping into walls with these others solutions, we simply felt more secure and relaxed by working with a company that has the stability that Comcast offers -- we can now focus on our core business of putting heads in beds."
