Comcast is Offering 2009 Academy-Award Favorites Slumdog Millionaire, Milk and Many Others On Demand and in HD

Also, The Wrestler and Frost/Nixon will debut On Demand tomorrow…the same day they are available on DVD. Anyone who missed these films while they were in theaters or wants to watch them again can now do it from the comfort of their own living room, anytime they want.
"This month customers can watch On Demand movies that received 10 Academy Awards and 30 nominations from 2009 - in HD - with a click of their remote." said Derek Harrar, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Video Services for Comcast. "These hits are among the over a thousand movies available to our customers, who watch an astounding 45 million movies On Demand each month."
Winners and nominees from the 2009 Academy Awards available On Demand this month include Slumdog Millionaire, The Wrestler, Milk, Frost/Nixon, Rachel Getting Married and Changeling - all available in HD. These movies can be found On Demand in the "HD On Demand" folder. Blockbusters including Quantum of Solace, Yes Man, Cadillac Records and Marley & Me are also available this month.
These movies join Comcast's signature On Demand program library that offers more than 10,000 entertainment programs available each month, including more than 1,000 choices in HD available at any time. These movies are all part of Project Infinity, the company's commitment to innovation and the delivery of exponentially more quality content choice on TV, including more HD.
