Philadelphia, PA.

From The Real World of New York and Los Angeles to the undersea world of SpongeBob SquarePants to 48 Hours, Comcast is bringing viewers a new way to enjoy some of their favorite programming any time they want, with the addition of programming from selected Viacom networks to the company's ON DEMAND lineup.

Beginning this month, Comcast, the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, will offer programming from Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin, The N, MTV and BET as part of its ON DEMAND service at no extra charge. .

In addition, in selected markets, Comcast plans to offer CBS news programming, including The Early Show, CBS Evening News and 48 Hours, as well as local news broadcasts, via ON DEMAND. CBS news content initially will be available in Pittsburgh and Baltimore, and will be launched in several additional markets as ON DEMAND becomes available later this year.

"We're thrilled to bring our customers more value, choice and control with the addition of Viacom's exceptional programming to our ON DEMAND service," said Page Thompson, Vice President of Marketing, New Video Products, for Comcast. "We're offering viewers TV on their terms: what they want to watch, the way they want to watch it. Whether it's getting the news they need from CBS Evening News, catching up with Dora day or night, or enjoying a Real World marathon on their schedule, this is a great way for customers to enjoy many of their favorite shows."

In addition to Viacom programming, ON DEMAND offers Comcast Digital Cable customers the opportunity to choose from more than 1,800 programming options, including shows from popular networks like BBC America, Boomerang, Comedy Central, CNN, Cartoon Network, Court TV, C-SPAN, the Golf Channel, Outdoor Life Network, WISDOM Television and many more.
