Comcast Corporation Names Bill Black Director of Public Affairs

Philadelphia, PA.

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, announced today that Bill Black has been appointed Director of Public Affairs.

In this role, Mr. Black will oversee key processes and initiatives supporting Comcast's national community investment and outreach programs, including developing and implementing internal and external communications plans, directing the Company's corporate contribution processes and serving as a liaison to several cable industry associations. He will report to Diane Dietz, Senior Director of Public Affairs and Vice President, The Comcast Foundation.

Mr. Black has more than 15 years of experience in the cable industry, holding senior leadership positions in cable system management and Public Affairs with Comcast, MediaOne and Bresnan Communications. He joined Comcast in 2000 as Senior Director of Public Affairs, and later served as Vice President and General Manager of Comcast's Flint, MI, cable system. He is rejoining Comcast after serving as President and General Manager of Shelti, Inc., a Michigan-based manufacturer and distributor of table games, from 2005 until 2006.

Mr. Black holds a Master's degree in Business Communications from Jones International University in Englewood, CO, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ. He will relocate to Philadelphia from Bay City, MI.
