Comcast Cable Names Grace Killelea Vice President of Talent And Leadership Initiatives
Comcast Cable, the nation's leading provider of entertainment, information and communications, today announced the promotion of Grace Killelea to Vice President of Talent and Leadership Initiatives. In this newly created position, Killelea will focus on creating, integrating and leading the talent management and executive development function throughout Comcast. In addition, she will identify future internal leaders, including high-potential women and minorities, and will work with management to help prepare them for their next leadership role and position them for success.
"Grace's extensive Human Resources experience and passion for Comcast employees make her the perfect fit for this new position," said Suzanne Keenan, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast Cable and Comcast University. "Not only is Grace a leader at Comcast, but she is well-respected throughout the entire cable industry for her knowledge, energy and advocacy for professional development."
For ten years, Killelea has been a leader in Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the oldest and largest organization serving women professionals in cable and telecommunications, and has served as sole facilitator of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute program for six years, developing over 300 female cable industry executives across the country.
Killelea will continue to oversee Comcast's Emma L. Bowen Foundation (EBF) Internship program, which promotes diversity by providing minority high school and college age students with an opportunity to pursue their interests in media and communications through a multi-year work/study program. Under her leadership, Comcast is the largest employer of EBF students in the country, hosting 100 students this year.

Killelea joined Comcast in 2003 as the Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast Spotlight, Comcast's advertising division, where she was responsible for over 3,500 employees. She has over 25 years of Human Resources experience, and a master's degree from the Kogod School of Business at American University. Killelea is also a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
She will be relocating to the Philadelphia area from New York City.
