Comcast Cable Names Diana Kerekes Vice President, Video Content

Comcast Cable, the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced that Diana Wechsler Kerekes has been named Vice President, Video Content. She will report to Derek Harrar, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Video Services.
In this role, Ms. Kerekes will be responsible for the daily management, delivery and strategic direction of video content, working in partnerships with programming providers to produce, organize and promote their content on Comcast's video services. In addition, she will lead Comcast's industry leading ON DEMAND team, guiding content strategies and the product roadmap.
"Diana's leadership and insight will help us continue enhancing our ON DEMAND service and give our customers the most linear and video-on-demand viewing choices," said Mr. Harrar. "Her experience in the development and acquisition of cross-platform content will be a tremendous asset as we drive more value to our customers."
Ms. Kerekes most recently served as Vice President of Broadband Content Acquisition for Comcast, where she worked with Comcast Interactive Media to acquire rights to video and interactive content for Comcast's Internet properties. She joined Comcast in 2003 as Vice President and General Counsel of Programming Investments. In that role, she played an instrumental role in the creation of PBS KIDS Sprout and served as the network's interim General Manager during its cross-platform launch. Before joining Comcast, she served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Safeguard Scientifics, Inc.
Ms. Kerekes holds a B.A. and J.D. from Boston University, and is a member of the New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania bars. She also serves on the boards of directors for PBS KIDS Sprout and FEARnet. She lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two children.
