Comcast Cable Names David Jensen Vice President, International Programming

Philadelphia, PA.

Comcast Cable, the country's leading cable and broadband communications provider, today announced that David Jensen has joined the company as Vice President, International Programming.

In his new role, Jensen will be responsible for negotiating programming contracts related to foreign-language and other international content. He also will analyze new programming opportunities and provide guidance on matters related to programming strategy, additions and packaging structures.

"As we work to bring additional viewing choices to our customers and enhance our multicultural programming lineup, David's extensive experience in the cable industry will be a tremendous asset," said Matt Bond, Executive Vice President, Programming. Prior to joining Comcast, Jensen served as Vice President for Liberty Media and Tele-Communications, Inc., where he was responsible for business development activities and a wide range of programming investment responsibilities serving numerous media companies. He also was a legislative staff member for former U.S. Senator William L. Armstrong and served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Economic Policy for the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Jensen holds a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Denver and an M.A. in law from Oxford University in Oxford, England. He resides in Moorestown, N.J.
