Comcast Cable Announces Two Key Promotions
Philadelphia, PA.
Comcast Cable, the country's leading entertainment and communications company, today announced that Greg Pucci has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Information Services (IS) and Bill Smart has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Purchasing.
"Greg and Bill have been instrumental in helping us expand our Information Services and Purchasing practices," said Dave Richardson, Senior Vice President of Administration for Comcast. "In the maintenance and support of a growing business, their drive, commitment and analytical experience will continue to help us build our strategy for two of the company's key internal functions."
Pucci will continue to lead the development and deployment of guidelines for all functions of Comcast's Data Center, including customer billing systems, the data warehouse and the day-to-day performance and operations of the IS Help. /p>
Pucci attended St. Joseph's University and is a member of the DST Innovis Executive Advisory Council. He resides in West Chester. Smart will have continued responsibility for the overall management of the
cable division's purchasing function, including negotiation and management of strategic supplier agreements and development and oversight of purchasing policies and procedures. He also will continue to oversee the management of the company's vehicle fleet and supplier diversity relationships. Smart holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from LaSalle College. He resides in Hatboro.
