Comcast Announces Management Structure for Post Adelphia and Time Warner Integration

Kevin M. Casey Named President of Newly Formed New England Division; Michael A. Doyle Named President of Expanded Eastern Division

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services announced today the new senior management team for the cable division. David N. Watson, Executive Vice President of Operations, who reports to Stephen B. Burke will be responsible for the five operating divisions. 

Kevin Casey has been promoted to president of the newly formed New England Division that will encompass the existing Comcast, Adelphia and Time Warner systems in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Western Pennsylvania and Comcast systems in Maine. The Division will serve approximately 3.5 million customers. 

"As we plan for the integration of the Adelphia and Time Warner operations, I am proud and excited that Kevin Casey will be leading the newly formed New England Division. Kevin has a long history and deep expertise in the cable industry and is well respected throughout our company," said Dave Watson. 

Michael Doyle will be the president of the expanded Eastern Division that will include current Comcast, Adelphia and Time Warner systems in metro Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia as well as Comcast systems in New Jersey. The new Division will serve approximately 5.3 million customers. CN8, The Comcast Network, will continue to report to Mike Doyle. 

"Mike Doyle has tremendous operating experience and has been a strong leader at Comcast for more than 20 years. He is the ideal leader for the expanded Eastern Division as it continues to aggressively launch new video and high speed products and continues to roll out Comcast Digital Voice across its footprint," said Dave Watson. 

William Connors was recently promoted to president of the Midwest Division which will consist of Comcast and Adelphia/Time Warner systems in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Minnesota. The Midwest Division will serve approximately 4.1 million customers. 

John Ridall is president of the Southern Division which will include Comcast, Adelphia and Time Warner systems in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and South Carolina. The Southern Division will serve approximately 4.7 million customers. 

Brad Dusto is president of the Western Division which will include Comcast systems in Colorado, Oregon, Washington, California, New Mexico, Utah and Adelphia and Time Warner systems in Colorado, Oregon and the bay area of California. The Western Division will serve approximately 5.4 million customers. 

Stephen Burch, former president of the Mid Atlantic Division will be leaving Comcast to become CEO of NTL International in England.
