All Four NBC News Broadcasts Top Key Demo For 2015-16 Season
All four broadcasts of NBC News were No. 1 in the key news demo A25-54 for the 2015-2016 season, according to Nielsen Media Research data. NBC News’ TODAY, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Meet the Press and Dateline NBC (Friday) also won the 52-week season among the coveted demo of younger viewers A18-49. Nightly News was also No. 1 among total viewers, marking the broadcast’s 20th consecutive across-the-board season win.
The last time all four shows won the demo that news advertisers most value was the 2010-11 season. It’s the first season TODAY and Meet the Press have won the A25-54 demo since the 2011-12 season.
