Rick Lang serves as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Comcast Cable.In this role, Rick focuses on driving consumer revenue and market share growth for Comcast Cable by leading sales channel transformation and evolving the company’s customer acquisition, retention, segmentation, brand and competitive strategies.

Rick joined Comcast in 2003 and has held several key leadership roles throughout the company.  Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Central Division, where he was responsible for developing and executing competitive strategy, sales channel management, marketing analytics, inbound/outbound/retention call centers, marketing communications, and product marketing.

He has also served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s former East Division, as well as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Comcast Business Services in California.

A 30-year veteran of the cable industry, Rick previously held leadership roles with Cable ONE as well as Charter Communications, where he served as Corporate Vice President of Marketing and was a member of the company’s executive committee.

Rick earned his BA degree in broadcast communications from San Francisco State University, and his MBA degree from Arizona State University. He has been recognized by the cable and television industry, earning CableACE, EMMY, and multiple Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) Mark Awards.
