Randy Waddell is the Northeast Division's Senior Vice President of Marketing overseeing product marketing strategy for Comcast’s systems in 14 northeastern states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Randy's focus is on effectively growing market share and positioning the XFINITY brand as the leader in Comcast’s most competitive markets.  Randy and his team collaborate closely with Regional leaders and Sales to design and execute marketing strategies that drive sales and customer retention.

Randy previously served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s Northeast Division, where he oversaw sales and customer retention strategy.   Randy also collaborated with Comcast colleagues nationwide to guarantee a cohesive set of marketing and sales practices throughout the company.

Randy has more than 25 years of experience in the cable industry, holding various positions in marketing, sales and customer care with Comcast and its predecessor companies, including Continental Cable, Cablevision Systems, MediaOne and AT&T Broadband.

Prior to his previous role, Randy was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s New England Region, where he led the Comcast re-branding effort after the acquisition of AT&T Broadband and oversaw the successful local marketing strategy for Comcast’s "Triple Play" bundle of video, voice and high-speed Internet services.

Randy earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Randy now resides in Newburyport, Massachusetts with his wife where he is active in a number of community programs and charities.
