Ed Brassel serves as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Business Intelligence for Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal. In this role, he leads business intelligence and analytics efforts at Comcast Cable that provide insight, inform decision making and drive strategic planning while also incorporating that same focus across NBCUniversal’s television, film and theme park properties.
Ed has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, strategy and business analytics. Prior to joining Comcast in 2013 he served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Analytics at DirecTV, managing all aspects of subscriber analytics and audience measurement. He has also held various marketing and analytics roles with Brierly+Partners, Omnicom, H.J. Heinz Company and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
Ed is a graduate of Duke University, where he earned both an MBA and B.A. in Psychology. He and his husband, Joe, reside in Philadelphia.
