Brian A. Rankin serves as Senior Vice President, Senior Deputy General Counsel for Comcast Corporation. In this role, he is primarily responsible for leading a team that provides counsel for legal and regulatory matters, including those affecting Comcast’s cable, broadband, wireless, voice and other businesses. Brian joined Comcast in 2005.
Prior to joining Comcast, Brian served in senior legal positions for XO Communications, Aerial Communications and MCI Communications where he worked on a wide array of legal and regulatory matters. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Illinois.
Brian earned his J.D. from DePaul University, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy, an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama (with Honors) and a B.S. from Illinois State University. He serves as a Vice Chair and member of the board of directors of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, and as a member of the board of directors of the Global Interdependence Center.
