Ashton serves as a Vice President for Strategic & Financial Planning for Comcast Corporation.  In this role, Ashton works closely with leadership and focuses on a variety of different growth strategies and business decisions across both NBC Universal and Comcast Cable.  In this position he has also helped lead integration efforts, including Comcast Corporation acquisition of NBC Universal in 2011.
Prior to his current role, Ashton served as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Cable Division.  His responsibilities included budgets, forecasts and long range plans as well as leading a number of critical business initiatives.  Ashton was involved in operationalizing a number of Cable acquisitions, including the 2003 AT&T Broadband and 2005 Adelphia transactions.  He has held a number of leadership positions within Cable, both in field operations and headquarters.  He started with Comcast in 1999.
Before joining Comcast, Ashton worked as an accountant in Portland, OR.    He holds a BS in Accounting from Temple University and is also a graduate of the CTAMU Cable Executive Management program at Harvard Business School.  He resides in Ardmore, PA with his wife and 2 daughters.
