00:00:05.970 --> 00:00:09.284
I was really excited because
I've never been able to come

38abda59-ca1f-4c64-8f42-72154e098663-1
00:00:09.284 --> 00:00:09.570
here.

e992b229-e8fd-4f43-9ce7-0a4e8fdd6606-0
00:00:10.490 --> 00:00:14.039
I had no idea what I'm in for,
but I'm ready to just experience

e992b229-e8fd-4f43-9ce7-0a4e8fdd6606-1
00:00:14.039 --> 00:00:14.650
everything.

00:00:15.890 --> 00:00:19.196
I think an event like the Steam
Symposium is important because

7b86b877-b0fc-42e3-9b79-384ccb5a06b7-1
00:00:19.196 --> 00:00:22.397
it brings awareness and access
to all the different types of

7b86b877-b0fc-42e3-9b79-384ccb5a06b7-2
00:00:22.397 --> 00:00:23.290
careers in Steam.

0bdf8ce1-5c82-4240-a4eb-9cf362cf2c8a-0
00:00:23.930 --> 00:00:27.950
Steam isn't just about science
and technology, it's about

0bdf8ce1-5c82-4240-a4eb-9cf362cf2c8a-1
00:00:27.950 --> 00:00:31.970
creativity, innovation, and most
importantly, connection.

5091df18-6009-4e7e-9824-eeda1205b410-0
00:00:33.480 --> 00:00:36.680
For me to be here is a eye
opening experience.

dbdeb805-562e-401b-8d9b-1b7582c94716-0
00:00:36.920 --> 00:00:39.551
I've been able to see so many
new things and I feel like I've

dbdeb805-562e-401b-8d9b-1b7582c94716-1
00:00:39.551 --> 00:00:41.080
thought I could find a mentor
here.

39615f68-867d-4355-93b1-4cea1bea841e-0
00:00:41.480 --> 00:00:44.197
Just being here and being
surrounded by people who want

39615f68-867d-4355-93b1-4cea1bea841e-1
00:00:44.197 --> 00:00:46.720
the same things as me look like
me is so wonderful.

b1bfcde0-a68b-4a9d-b8b8-593ee0a350f6-0
00:00:46.880 --> 00:00:49.646
Standing here makes me know and
recognize the fact that I am

b1bfcde0-a68b-4a9d-b8b8-593ee0a350f6-1
00:00:49.646 --> 00:00:51.960
capable of more than I ever
thought I was able to.

76272068-038e-40e9-8e98-d949a58c890d-0
00:00:56.160 --> 00:00:58.000
Being who you are is your power.

ebd48a1a-cb00-42a0-8bc7-0ccd8d675574-0
00:00:58.000 --> 00:01:00.160
Don't you ever see it as
something that would set you

ebd48a1a-cb00-42a0-8bc7-0ccd8d675574-1
00:01:00.160 --> 00:01:00.360
back?

00:01:00.680 --> 00:01:02.920
See it as something that will
make you move forward.

00:01:03.760 --> 00:01:07.493
The more you can do and
experience, the greater you can

e3cac85d-919d-459e-b451-c283f2368d50-1
00:01:07.493 --> 00:01:07.960
become.

00:01:08.360 --> 00:01:11.160
You in this room can be the
workforce that does it.

00:01:11.160 --> 00:01:14.764
Next, we want to honor and
uplift first generation

00:01:14.764 --> 00:01:15.400
students.

00:01:15.800 --> 00:01:18.480
You are the future leaders of
our world.

7b13def3-8925-4628-a1be-d6b4bf7abcfa-0
00:01:18.840 --> 00:01:22.960
Go out and be whoever it is you
want to be.

00:01:23.720 --> 00:01:25.480
I'm giving all of you a laptop.

00:01:28.320 --> 00:01:30.978
Just seeing their faces when we
announced that was just

7e856cbe-4e94-41c7-804e-710027421772-1
00:01:30.978 --> 00:01:31.880
absolutely amazing.

a4295eb5-62a9-4857-9927-94677122caba-0
00:01:31.880 --> 00:01:33.360
It actually gave us all chills.

7c42080d-f74f-4e03-9281-fc8452905850-0
00:01:33.680 --> 00:01:36.062
Just the energy and the
excitement with getting that

7c42080d-f74f-4e03-9281-fc8452905850-1
00:01:36.062 --> 00:01:38.400
access to learning and access,
the ability to grow.

00:01:39.320 --> 00:01:42.455
Getting this laptop will help me
reach my dreams and actually

b0d38e55-dee2-4779-ae88-4e696efa8a47-1
00:01:42.455 --> 00:01:43.720
pursue what I want to be.

On behalf of Comcast and
everyone here, we would like to

fc54dff9-9235-4d40-b33d-ee3647b10277-1

give you a free 5G phone on us.

Thank you so much.

something about Wicked?

I've learned so many things and
gained so much experience from

00:02:09.224 --> 00:02:09.480
this.

It is mind blowing.

I'm a first ten professional.

00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:16.760
I know the impact this has on
our students.

00:02:17.360 --> 00:02:20.665
I've met so many kids today and
I can't wait to see some of the

amazing work that they're going

This event told me to follow
your dreams and do what you want

to do.
