As one of the product managers for the Xfinity Stream app, I often hear from customers what they love about it, and where we could improve.
Live TV is a popular part of our app, so we hear a lot of feedback on the guide in particular – and the general theme is "just get me to what I want to watch as quickly and simply as possible."
So things like adding the ability to favorite channels, automatically filtering the guide to only include channels that are part of a customer’s subscription, adding a channel finder so customers can quickly tune to what they want to watch, and making it easier to watch channels when out of home are a few recent examples of features we added to address this notion of getting to content quicker.
All told, these little updates are making a difference. Since making these updates, we’ve seen an increase in viewership of live TV, quick adoption of new features, and positive customer feedback.
