NBC Sports Group’s live coverage of the Stanley Cup Final begins with Game 1 on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, when the Los Angeles Kings host the New York Rangers at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Coverage begins with NHL Live at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The Kings advanced to the Stanley Cup Final with a 5-4 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks, as Alec Martinez’s point shot deflected past Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford to send the Kings to their second Stanley Cup Final in three years. With the win, the Kings became the first team in Stanley Cup Playoff history to win three Game 7s on the road in all three series while advancing to the Stanley Cup Final.

The Kings will look to earn their second Stanley Cup in three seasons, after defeating the New Jersey Devils in six games in 2012 for their first ever title. The Rangers aim for their first Stanley Cup title in 20 seasons, when they defeated the Vancouver Canucks in seven games in 1994 for their first championship since 1940.
