We sat down with Faiven Feshazion, current NBC Page, to ask her about her experience.
What made you want to join the NBCUniversal Page Program?
I was searching online for entry-level positions within the television industry and a video about the NBCUniversal Page Program came up in my search results. Everything the video described was exactly what I was looking for. The hands-on experience in a variety of television departments was very appealing to me, as well as being able to join the ranks of the famous Page Program alumni who got their start as a Page.
What is the best part about being an NBCUniversal Page?
The best part is the work environment. When you start the Page Program, you are instantly introduced to 60 fellow Pages who instantly become your friends as well as your colleagues. In addition to being incredibly talented and hardworking, Pages tend to be extroverted and personable so the work environment is always a lot of fun.
What has been your best day as a Page so far?
My best day is when I found out I landed my first Page assignment! In addition to giving studio tours and assisting with the audiences for certain NBC shows, Pages are selected to work on specific assignments within NBCUniversal — and I was selected for the Today show! I called my parents right away to tell them. It was such a great feeling!
What is the most interesting thing you have learned about NBCUniversal to date?
The most interesting thing to me is learning how many employees at NBCUniversal are former Pages. It is fantastic and inspiring to know that this program can truly lead to amazing job opportunities within the company.
What is your ideal job coming out of the program?
I would like to be in a production assistant position so that I may continue to expand my skill sets and grow my behind-the-scenes experience.
What is your dream job?
I would love to be an on-air personality for one of NBCUniversal’s entertainment entities, such as E! News.
