NBC News' "Meet the Press" will introduce a new digital interview series, "Meet the Press Express," that takes the pulse of what's happening in the world of politics, mid-week. The series, presented by GE, is hosted by David Gregory and a rotating team of NBC News journalists from the network's DC bureau. "Meet the Press Express" is a smart, casual conversation with both seasoned and up-and-coming reporters from other news organizations around Washington about what's driving the political agenda that week.
"'Meet the Press' has always been about sharp, engaging dialogue with top voices in the political sphere, and "Meet the Press Express" is the newest way we're driving the discussion forward on every platform. We want to be the place people turn to for information on pressing political issues, whether it's on TV or online, and we’re thrilled to work with GE to bring this new digital experience to our audience," said Rob Yarin, executive producer of "Meet the Press."
"Meet the Press Express" is the latest addition to the program's portfolio of online and social offerings throughout the week, all of which are featured on "MTP 24/7" on NBCNews.com. These include:
-
#TweetThePress— a weekly Twitter interview series with newsmakers and the Twitter community;
-
PRESS Pass— a video interview series with authors, filmmakers and cultural leaders; and
-
the "Meet the Press" magazine on Flipboard
