The Academy honored Universal's Les Misérables with three Academy Awards. Anne Hathaway won her first Academy Award for Supporting Actress for her performance as Fantine. The film was also honored with Oscars® for Best Makeup & Hairstyling and Best Sound Mixing.
Focus Features’ breathtaking adaptation of Anna Karenina won for Best Costume Design.
