If you’re anything like me you often find yourself in New York City. Now, I live in Philadelphia but for a variety reasons I travel to the Big Apple more than my fair share. Where ever I go, so go a bushel of gadgets: my iPhone, my Blackberry, my laptop, and now my iPad.
The one thing that all of those devices share in common is that they are all even better with WiFi. That’s why I’m so excited about this new WiFi agreement we’ve entered with Cablevision and Time Warner Cable. Now customers of all three companies can log onto all three of the company’s WiFi networks.
This means if you’re a Comcast customer and you’re visiting the New York area (anywhere from the Jersey Shore to the Hamptons) where one of the three companies have a WiFi network, you can log in using only your Comcast.net email address and surf to your heart’s delight.
Check out Time Warner’s WiFi Coverage map and Cablevision’s so you can start planning your trip to New York with WiFi in mind.
