Our biggest kids event ever is underway, and Xfinity TV customers are digging into kids content across platforms, from watching Disney channels live on Xfinity.com/TV to downloading Sprout favorites like The Chica Show to the Xfinity TV Player app. While our TV shows are sure to keep kids entertained, one of the coolest things happening during Summer of Kids is Family Movie Night.
For the first time ever, we’re putting programming decisions into the hands of our customers! Each week in July, we’ll pick 10 family-friendly movies and ask our @XFINITY_TV followers and Facebook fans to vote on their favorite from the list. We’ll tally the votes and then offer the top five choices at a discounted price the following weekend.
We just wrapped up our second week polling, and the ballot included Mulan, The Great Muppet Caper, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, ET: The Extra Terrestrial, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Bolt, and Escape to Witch Mountain. Hundreds of people voted over the last couple of weeks, and today Xfinity TV families can choose from Mulan, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3 and ET: The Extra Terrestrial to watch together at a discounted rate. Make sure to vote for next weekend’s Top 5 – voting closes on Monday at noon.
