We are proud to have been named among the Top 50 Companies for Diversity by DiversityInc for the second consecutive year.  At Comcast and NBCUniversal we define diversity broadly—not just by embracing differences in race, gender, culture, color, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or ability—but also by embracing a business culture that respects and includes different thoughts, choices, philosophies, and experiences.

The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list began in 2001.  Comcast and NBCUniversal have a longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion—from our founding 50 years ago as a local cable operator, to NBCUniversal’s pioneering efforts to promote and sustain on-camera diversity.

More than a thousand public and privately held companies competed for spots on this coveted list. The rankings are determined by an objective methodology that calculates factors such as talent pipeline, equitable talent development (including commitments to mentorship and philanthropy), CEO/leadership commitment, and supplier diversity.

We are committed to instilling diversity and inclusion practices across every area of our business and this recognition further underscores our efforts.
