Comcast Cares Day

A celebration of our commitment to giving back each and every day of the year.

Now in its 18th year, Comcast Cares Day is one of the largest corporate commitments to volunteerism and service in America. Comcast NBCUniversal’s long-standing company tradition has engaged more than one million volunteers to help strengthen communities around the world where our customers and employees live and work. This year for the first time, we welcomed colleagues at Sky to join this tradition of giving back. Our company-wide celebration of Comcast Cares Day happened on Saturday, May 4, 2019, and hundreds of projects took place between April and mid-May.

  • Graduating Paradise Strong

This past Comcast Cares Day, more than 1,000 volunteers restored Paradise High School in time for graduation in the aftermath of the most destructive wildfire in California history.

  • Accessible Toy Workshop: Creating Fun for Everyone

Comcast Cares Day volunteers partner with Easterseals, Jefferson University and the Science Leadership Academy to adapt toys and vehicles for children with disabilities.

  • Making Change Happen in 2019

Comcast NBCUniversal and Sky employees gathered their friends, family members, nonprofit partners, and community leaders to participate in Comcast Cares Day 2019.

  • Olympic Inspiration in Colorado Springs

Comcast employees and volunteers joined Olympic Gold medalists Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Monique Lamoureux-Morando at the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado Springs.

  • Someone Who Cares: Comcast Cares Day

On Comcast Cares Day and every day, we work to create a lasting impact in our communities.

  • Comcast Cares Day 2019: Achieving 500,000 Environmentally-Friendly Volunteer Hours

This Comcast Cares Day, we achieved our companywide goal of 500,000 environmentally-friendly hours in 2019, a year ahead of our 2020 deadline.

We are firm believers that corporations have a responsibility to give back to the communities where their employees and customers live and work and to partner with local governments, organizations, and nonprofits to make our communities stronger.
