Philanthropy & Partnerships
We invest in and partner with individuals, programs and organizations that move our communities forward through leadership, empowerment, technology and innovation.
By concentrating investment in the areas of digital literacy, community service and building tomorrow’s leaders, the Comcast Foundation strives to empower communities nationwide.
Since 1999, the Comcast Foundation has contributed nearly $158 million to help strengthen the communities we serve. The Foundation invests in programs and nonprofits that address our priorities: expanding digital literacy, promoting community service and building tomorrow’s leaders.
The NBCUniversal Foundation supports today’s changemakers: those individuals, programs and organizations that strive to move our communities and our nation forward.
To build stronger communities, we need organizations with innovative ideas. That’s why the NBCUniversal Foundation launched its new signature grant program, 21st Century Solutions, which enables local non-profits implementing new and progressive programs to compete for funding in the 10 communities served by the NBC owned television stations. 21st Century Solutions supports high-impact emerging programs in the categories of Arts and Media, Civic Engagement, Community Development, Education, Environment, Jobs and Economic Empowerment, and Technology and Innovation. Together we can give good ideas in our community a chance to be great.
Comcast-Spectacor Charities, encompassing Flyers Charities and Global Spectrum Charities, has contributed $25 million to various non-profit organizations in the greater Philadelphia region since 1977.
Comcast-Spectacor Charities, which encompasses Flyers Charities and Global Spectrum Charities, has contributed $25 million to charity since its inception in 1977. Comcast-Spectacor Charities prides itself on helping support not just one but a multitude of worthy non-profit organizations that benefit everything from important healthcare initiatives including heart health and stroke and cancer awareness to various youth recreation programs and plenty more. The March of Dimes, the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia, Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse and Minding Your Mind Foundation represent just a few of the charities that we have served.
