No matter the time of year, Xfinity On Demand has always been a premier destination for top kids content from the best networks and brands. With thousands of hours of family-friendly TV shows and films available on TV, online and through the Xfinity TV Player App, there are always great options for movie nights, rainy days and general entertainment. But this summer, Xfinity is bringing customers its biggest kids event ever: Summer of Kids.
Summer of Kids showcases what many families already know – that Xfinity offers unparalleled access to the best kids content across platforms. With choices for all ages from every major kids network, Xfinity On Demand brings families the most options of what, when and where to watch. Favorites like Nickelodeon, Disney, Sprout, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids and more, plus top shows including Dora the Explorer, Angry Birds, Sofia the First, Phineas and Ferb, Ben 10, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sid the Science Kid, the Chica Show and Pajanimalsare staples of the Xfinity kids content library.
The Summer of Kids event – taking place throughout July – will make more kids content available than ever before on the Xfinity On Demand platform, including the industry’s biggest selection of downloadable content. With more than 1,000 downloadable TV shows and films, families will be able to watch favorites on tablets and smartphones in places where there is no Internet connection. Movies like Finding Nemo, The Muppets, Brave and Freaky Friday are all available to download as part of a customer’s Xfinity Digital TV, Streampix and premium subscriptions, as well as content from Sprout, Kabillion, Warner Brothers and Cookie Jar. Additional downloadable content is available from Starz, Encore, MoviePlex and Showtime. Also, we’re opening up our Xfinity WiFI hotspots to anyone with a WiFi enabled device for the last two weeks in July, giving families more options for streaming the best kids content while on-the-go.
To complement Summer of Kids, Xfinity is also launching new, permanent features to make finding and selecting kids content across platforms as easy as possible. Our recently launched family and kids microsite on xfinity.com/TV brings viewers immediate access to 7,500 streaming video options, including the ability to watch Disney, Disney, Jr. and Disney XD live online. We have also launched a new family and kids content section on the Xfinity TV Player App on Apple devices, making it easier than ever for parents to find what they are looking for while on-the-go. And, in partnership with Common Sense Media, when watching on Demand on your home television, families can now select kids content sorted by age and most-watched categories.
Xfinity brings the best kids content to the most devices for families on-the-go every day. And Summer of Kids will bring them even more all month long. Visit www.xfinity.com/summerofkids for additional details.
