Philadelphia, PA (February 15, 2005) - Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK ), the nation's
leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced
that Marvin O. Davis has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Marketing.
In this newly created position, Mr. Davis will be responsible for developing and implementing
comprehensive integrated marketing, sales and branding strategies for the company's video, data and
voice services. He will report to Dave Watson, Executive Vice President of Operations for Comcast

technologies," said Mr. Watson. "Marvin's leadership and expertise will help take us to the next level and
strengthen our position as the provider of choice as we bring multiple video, online and voice products to
Mr. Davis most recently served as Vice President, Advertising and Brand Management for Verizon
Wireless, where he led the company's branding, marketing and advertising initiatives. He has nearly 20
years of consumer branding and marketing experience, including 10 years in the telecommunications
industry, holding senior leadership positions with Verizon, GTE Wireless and BellSouth
Telecommunications. In addition, he held several brand management positions for Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Davis holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Emory University in Atlanta and an M.B.A. from Clark Atlanta
University. He will be relocating to the Philadelphia area from Atlanta with his wife and two sons.
